Those who have dedicated their lives to the service of God and humanity, watch Uri Geller with hope. Hope that one day his eyes will suddenly be opened and that he will make a U-Turn and start seriously considering how to fulfil his destiny.
In his book "The Seven Spiritual Laws Of Success", Deepak Chopra says "Least effort is expended when your actions are motivated by love because Nature is held together by the energy of love.
"When you seek power and control over other people - you waste your energy. When you seek money or power for the sake of the ego - you spend energy chasing the illusion of happiness instead of enjoying happiness of the moment.
When you seek money for personal gain only you cut off the flow of energy to yourself and interfere with nature's intelligence. But when your actions are motivated by love, there is no waste of energy, rather, it multiplies and accumulates, and the surplus energy you gather and enjoy can be channelled to create anything you want, including unlimited wealth.
Tending to one's ego consumes the greatest amount of energy. When one's reference point is the ego, seeking power over other people or even only seeking approval from others, one spends energy in a wasteful way".
The important point that needs to be made is that the energy we are wasting is precisely the energy that is needed for the Kundalini to be fuelled in order to be able to continue on her upward journey to the male energy that lies waiting for her arrival at te crown of the head. This is why every individual needs to deal with the ego problem at this stage. Of course, it goes without saying that the accumulation of wealth for personal gratification is tantamount to ego satisfaction and aggrandizement.
If Uri Geller is to liberate the fire trapped midway up his spine in order to arrive at full Self-Integration and on to God-realization - ego must be ruthlessly brushed aside. All the energy expended now to promote ego, can then be released and re-channelled in order to create and materialize - all the other things that h is pursuing to relentlessly.
Chopra continues, "When your internal reference point is your spirit, not your ego - and you are immune to criticism and unfearful of any challenge, you can harness your energies and use them creatively to promote your personal evolution as well as to experience what true affluence is".
Carlos Castaneda, referring to Don Juan in his book "The art of dreaming" quotes him as saying: "Most of our energy goes into upholding our own importance. If we were capable of losing some of that importance two extraordinary things would happen to us. One - we would free that energy usually expended on trying to maintain the illusory idea of our own grandeur, and two we would provide ourselves with enough energy to catch a glimpse of the actual grandeur of the universe". Castanenda is referring to. If Uri Geller only knew what he is depriving himself of and how hampering it is to the development of his powers to focus on so much self-promotion - he would really begin to try and modify his activities. He could start by reading a few works by Swami Muktanda, Joseph Pierce, Carlos Castaneda, Deepak Chopra and other leading experts on meditation, he would learn how to increase his energy rather than allow it to grow weaker as he grew older. When energy is referred to here, it is that particular paranormal faculty which is under discussion. I.e. Kundalini Fire which is now active in his nervous system. Mantra meditation activates this energy sometimes referred to as the "serpent power" which lies dormant in every human being.
Everything that Uri is capable of doing, is possible only because his Kundalini is awake and active. Whereas in most people who inhabit this planet it is not.
Since Uri is one of the lucky few, once he embarks on the meditative practice - his fire power will increase - and his powers will increase, and more powers will be added to the list of those powers he already possesses.
Not only that, but the state of pure-bliss-consciousness which he cannot immerse himself in now will become the home he will continually inhabit even while still in his body.
Job, in the Old Testament refers to this in the following phrase; "Yet in my own flesh shall I see God."
King David in Psalm 48 refers to it in these words "anointed with the oil of gladness - more than thy brothers."
He will be amazed at the universe of sights, lights, odours, music, nectar, bliss and well-being that he will find himself plunged into.
